'After a lifetime of holidaying in Cornwall I finally ditched the day job as a dealer of fine art and antiques and moved to West Penwith in 2008 with my husband and family. It is a privilege to be surrounded by such breathtaking scenery and my ambition now is to try and capture the rugged coastline and wild countryside onto canvas.
I like to use a palette knife and work mainly with oils. Although my work is largely figurative, my intention is to create a vigorous impression of the places where I have swum, walked, surfed and picnicked.'
